Being in the grounds of one of the biggest attractions in Bangkok, it’s easy to be overshadowed. But the thing I loved when visiting the Grand Palace in Bangkok earlier this year was the beautifully kept gardens surrounding the Palace itself. It took me back to the days when I thought Alice in Wonderland was real, and I couldnt help myself but look around for a Cheshire Cat, or some people sitting down to some turtle soup at a Mad Hatter Tea Party.
This experience reminded me that travel is supposed to be fun, and that we should all look for the playfulness in everything that we do. Expedia also has some amazing travel deals and things to do in so that your stay will be a vacation to remember.

My favourite thing about visiting palaces is checking out the gardens!! Heck, sometimes I just skip the palace and head straight for the gardens. They’re the perfect place to relax 😀
Those trees also make me think of a Dr. Seuss book =)
I totally agree – perfect place for a nap when you’re worn out from all that sightseeing! : )
Me too – I kind of expect some kind of cartoon charatacter to jump out behind one!
I and my wife are travelling to Bangkok for a week,is their an entrance fee for the gardens only of the grand palace ?
