I’ve just spent an amazing few days in the Malaysian capital and I loved it there! Apart from the weather being amazing, the food was fresh and delicious, and our hotel overlooked these two beauties – perhaps the cities most famous landmark. If you have the chance to visit, check it out – I have a feeling it’s going to be the new Bangkok!
Great photo, Nicole – KL is an amazing city! You’re right about the food, too. I tried to get the towers into one single shot, with me in there too, but just couldn’t do it! Love how the city centre looks at night, too – the Pavilion Mall is really pretty all lit up if you haven’t taken a wander there yet!
Haha, your hotel “overlooked” them? I thought the Petronas towers were one of the tallest buildings in the world? 😉
In any case, Malaysia is amazing terms of its culture, food (especially food), and local scene. Surreal.

Just amazing place, Malaysia is one of the favorite place of mine. I loved it. I agree the food is really delicious and healthy which I really enjoyed.

So cool, brings back great memories of my time in KL, also went to Langkawi Island (amazing as well). So many nice people and as you mentioned, GREAT food! Those towers are mind boggling! I had the same problem photographing the towers until I noticed a couple of guys shooting them one night ..talked to them briefly and it turns out they had a Canon 17mm lens (I shoot Canon also) and they let me borrow it for a few shots; got both towers in the shots from top to bottom! I love how nice people are when you’re traveling; here I was a total stranger and they let me swap out lenses so I could get the shot. Good times!
Beautiful! We’re going to be staying in an apartment right opposite the Petronas towers in a couple of days. It will be cool to see it at night, I’ve only seen it during the day.
Nice photo, can never get enough of that view! We’re in KL right now, been here for a few days now. I like it more every time I visit, it’s so much fun to explore the areas here, they’re all so different from each other.
