This Roman Catholic church is Budapest’s largest, overlooking the bustling Szt. István Square which is just a short walk from Budapest’s main point of reference, the Danube river. The church itself attracts thousands of visitors each due to the fact that it houses Hungary’s most prized relic – The mummified fist of St Stephan, Hungary’s first King. But if preserved flesh ain’t your thing there’s plenty to do nearby – The surrounding square is home to many cocktail bar or cafe filled with hip young locals so it’s the perfect spot to sit down, relax and watch the world go by after a hard day sightseeing.

What a stunning photo! Budapest is certinaly a place to see. Between the history and the people, really any length of time there isn’t long enough. Thanks for sharing this one :_
