While I’ve always been a city girl, I can’t shake my ties to the country – I grew up in a small town in the Australian state of Victoria, and when city life gets too much you’ll always find me escaping out to where it’s green and the air is fresh.
This photo was taken last year in the Lake District region of England – a stunning area of rolling hills, lakes that go for miles and of course lots of sheep. I feel like I can let go of all my pent up stresses and energy when in the country, which is why I found it fitting to act like some kind of strange rock-dwelling field creature in this shot. I guess it just goes to show the benefits of country air on the brain…

We went to the Lake District last year but to the North Eastern side – it was absolutely amazing. Feel so proud that England is that beautiful.
