I love Sweden, especially getting off the well-trodden tourist trail of Stockholm and getting out to see some of the lesser known cities – like Helsingborg. Located in the south of the country, and only a short train ride from Copenhagen, this seaside city is small, quaint and makes you feel like you’ve walked straight into a fairy tale from hundreds of years ago. I especially loved this statue which perches at the end of the city square, almost protecting the castle that looms above. If you are given a chance to visit one day, take it!
