Copenhagen is one of my favourite cities in Europe – I loved the history, food and bars, and had so much fun wandering the city streets photographing anything interesting that I could find.
I particularly loved the area of Nyhavn with its colourfully-painted restaurants along the water – this is where most tourists flock to in the city, and it was a great place to people watch as the sun set over the water. I thought it might be different to capture this spot in black and white when in person it’s so bright and vibrant – I think it makes it look so much more historic, and I love that simply altering the colour of a photo can change your memory of it.
For flights to Copenhagen go with BMI – the only way to travel to the Danish capital!
