I love cities with huge parks in the middle of them, so it was only natural that Boston would firmly plant itself in my lift of favourites…although that list seems to grow every time I travel these days!
It also reminds me of my home town Melbourne – there’s just something about being able to see the skyscrapers peek above the branches of a tree that makes me feel good.

I enjoy the iconic parks — Central Park, Golden Gate Park, etc… But Balboa Park in San Diego remains one of my all-time favorites.
